Young Rascals Day Nursery

Established since 2005, Young Rascals provide a reliable and loving environment for children aged 6wks to 8yrs. We are open all year round and can offer flexible and term time sessions. As we are a small nursery we can deliver a more intimate care experience tailored to your child’s individual needs, giving a more personal approach.  


What you are entitled to

All three and four year olds are entitled to 15 hours of free nursery education for 38 weeks of the year. This applies until they reach compulsory school age (the term following their fifth birthday).

If your child is born between They are eligible for a free place from
1 April and 31 August 1 September following their third birthday or the beginning of the autumn school term
1 September and 31 December 1 January following their third birthday or the beginning of the spring school term
1 January and 31 March 1 April following their third birthday or the beginning of the summer school term

Childcare Voucher Schemes

Your employer can provide you with childcare vouchers which can be used towards the cost of your chosen childcare provider. The childcare provider must be registered with the relevant authorities in your part of the UK. We accept vouchers from all providers.

You can get up to a maximum of £55 each week or £243 each month free of tax and NICs.

You do not have to use childcare vouchers in the week or month they are provided. If you do not wish to use the vouchers immediately you can save them to use later.

Friday - 7:30am till 6:00pm

There is a rise in fees every October so please contact the Nursery manager for the latest details.

As well as offering a School run & pick up service to local schools we also offer term time only sessions, school holiday care and also a 10% discount for siblings (offer is not available for children whose siblings receive funded sessions)
